My father age 62, non diabetic and no bp, but from dec 2022 he has hypothyroidism and his bp was 190/100, symptoms was swelling face legs hands. Dr. Prescribed thyronorm 100 and telmikind h. After 6 weeks his symptoms was not reduced. Then we go for another lab test where his tsh reduced from 40 to 12, but creatinine level jumped 1.3 to 3.02, next day 4.11 and then 5.22. Serum albumin is below range. Urine albumin ++++. He was admitted to hospital and got 3 bottles of albumin. Medicine prescribed- nefrosave keto, atorvastatin 40, clonodil 100 mg, iron-calcium tablets, lasix 40 tab. Taking this medicine from 1st feb. Steroids was not prescribed. Recent reports (20/02/2023) is creatinine 5.02. Albumin is 2.0 total protein is 4.4. Usg finding- bilateral pleural mild effusion and ascites. Bilateral early nephropathy. Please suggest medicine for protect his kidney.
